Position Summary: A team player with strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment. The Line Cook is highly organized, meets deadlines and thrives in a fast-paced setting to serve delicious food and maintain high quality standards. Capable of executing one or more kitchen stations, preparing food for use on the line and cleaning the kitchen and equipment efficiently, makes this role a critical member of a fun and top-notch kitchen crew.

Essential Responsibilities
Knowledgeable of employee handbook and all kitchen procedures of operation
Arrive on time and in uniform
Follow rules of conduct; food safety and sanitation measures; opening, closing and cleaning procedures
Submit to Sous Chef order needs within designated deadlines
Maintain ServSafe certification
Follow food safety and quality standards
Evaluate shelf life of products and report any issues to Sous Chef daily
Report to Sous Chef with any product loss for waste management records
Train new staff on all appropriate stations
Demonstrate a positive attitude and encourage an environment of team work and learning
Execute line positions as needed based on staffing and business levels
Ensure guests receive their food in accordance with established standards in a timely fashion


Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age
Formal culinary education and/or minimum two years high-end casual or high-volume dining
Can work independently and with a team (in close proximity)
Quick learner
Knowledge of or desire to learn craft beer styles
Strong attention to detail and respect for cleanliness and sanitation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Open to feedback and constantly striving to improve
Willingness to cross-train across our business
Excitement about the role of ensuring every guest has a quality experience
Team-player. Hard-worker. Honest.


Physical Demands
Ability to stand, bend, walk, and reach regularly for long periods
Ability to navigate the kitchen, brew pub, general store, and brew house safely including: tight spaces; crowded areas; hot, sharp or otherwise dangerous equipment
Lift, move, carry, and place boxes, packages, and equipment with and without assistance
Ability to work in varying temperatures especially hot
